Why does the US Government pay blackwater to protect diplomats? Why not use US special force’s or Infantry?

I have also heard from service men that duties such as Laundry on other things have been contracted and outsourced to companies at ridiculous amounts of money. Is this a way for corrupt insiders to skim more money from the American tax payers or is this ok?
People who do that for backwater are all ex special forces, marines, seals etc. They all train to be body guards and they know what they are doing. Special Forces and the standard military do transport people. Why do you not hear about it? Because they don’t want the world to know. If they didn’t need protection no one would care. But since they need protection, I would say there is someone who wants to kill them. As a protection they don’t go blab it around. Are you getting it?
As with the laundry why should they take people out of the fight when they can hire people to wash cloths and cook for them? So the soldiers can focus on their mission.
