Rare Old German
How rare are Chartreux cats?
Not British blues or Russian blues, I mean full on actual Chartreux. I own a small 8 or 9 month old female, and I heard from my Vet that they are rare because of the German occupation of France in World War II. The brutal warfare almost completely wiped them out, but in post-war times people brought surviving ones back to America to breed.
